Unique spaces to host your next Christchurch function or event
Opened in July 2019, Haere-roa is the new hub of UC students and the UCSA.
This new, purpose-built space includes student welfare and advocacy spaces, an outdoor amphitheatre overlooking the Avon River, as well as club, meeting, hospitality, office and event spaces.
A key feature of the building is the new Ngaio Marsh Theatre. As well as being used for performances and concerts, it's a space for UCSA's 180 clubs and societies.
Haere-roa. Designed with tradeshows, conferences, and large community events in mind. The majority of the building is available for hire as one, accommodating over 1000 guests.
Haere-roa is a brand-new, multi-function event centre, housing four individually bookable venues and many smaller breakout and meeting spaces. Haere-roa’s venues are perfect for corporate celebrations, networking events, theatre productions, weddings, product launches, conferences, trade shows, live music gigs and everything in-between!
Events and functions are central to our organisation’s DNA. We plan and host hundreds of industry-leading events each year for student, community and business stakeholders.
